Based in Buckinghamshire.

Traka provides systems to secure, manage and audit the use of almost any physical asset, including premises, devices, secure areas, equipment, machinery and vehicles. Traka provides intelligent key management and equipment management to protect important assets.

The Challenge

To supply and install a temporary building in the rear yard of the business premises.

The Solution

CIS Interiors supplied and installed a 12m wide x 15m long x 6.2m eave height freestanding temporary building with 60mm insulation and a pneumatic compressed air insulation roof. The building has one main side access door and one emergency personnel door.

The metalwork is manufactured to EN 1990 Eurocodes. Also included are Wind and Snow Loadings in accordance with European annexes. The PVC cladding material is manufactured to EN15619 November 2008 and EN14115:2002 fire ratings.

The building comprises of a series of interlinked box section frames and steel truss frames constructed in aluminium. Designed to bolt and fasten together on-site by means of structural steel fixings assembling into a framework clad in reinforced flame retardant PVC and anchored in position to level foundations or suitable ground.

The building has a 1500N/m² snow loading and 500N/m² static wind pressure and based on a 25m per second wind speed which relates to approximately 56mph gusts.

The construction is fixed directly to a suitable surface. It can be simply dismantled and re-erected on to any suitable preparation intact without devaluing or destroying the asset and can be deployed to move with you or to relocate around the site or business. The building, therefore, will last for an indeterminable period subject to good maintenance as it is independent of its foundations.

The Results

A temporary building to maximise indoor space with the flexibility to move the building.
